AltShift is an independent product business based in Romania, EU, producing GRC documentation systems for the European regulatory market.

Terms of use

Acceptance

By purchasing or downloading any AltShift product, you agree to these terms.

Licence granted

Each purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-entity licence to use the purchased product(s) within one organisation. You may edit, adapt, and customise the product for internal use; share it internally with employees and contractors; and use it as a basis for compliance documentation submitted to regulators or auditors.

What you may not do

• Resell, sublicence, or redistribute any AltShift product to third parties.
• Share products with clients, partner organisations, or any external entity without purchasing a separate licence per entity.
• Remove or alter copyright notices or product attribution.
• Use products to create competing compliance documentation products for sale.

Consultants and multi-entity use

Compliance consultants using AltShift products across multiple client engagements need a separate licence per client. For white-label or reseller arrangements, contact us at contact@altshift.me.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Romanian courts.

Intellectual property

All AltShift products — including their structure, content, formatting, and regulatory cross-references — are the intellectual property of AltShift and are protected under applicable copyright law.

The AltShift name, logo, and brand identity are proprietary. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

Regulatory texts referenced in our products (DORA, NIS2, RTS/ITS documents, ENISA guidelines) are published by EU institutions. Our products do not reproduce legislative text — they reference and structure it.

AltShift products are documentation tools, not legal or regulatory advice. Nothing constitutes legal advice, compliance certification, or a guarantee of regulatory compliance.

Compliance is the responsibility of your organisation. AltShift products provide structure and reference points — your organisation is responsible for populating them accurately, implementing the controls they describe, and maintaining them over time.

Regulatory change

EU regulations and their associated technical standards evolve over time. While AltShift products are updated when material changes occur, we cannot guarantee that every product reflects the most current regulatory position at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AltShift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of or inability to use our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for the specific product.

Privacy

Data we collect

AltShift does not operate its own user accounts or store payment information. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy — their privacy policy applies to transaction data. When you contact us by email, we retain your email address and message content solely to respond to your enquiry.

Website analytics

This website may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected for analytics purposes. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data we hold about you. Contact us at contact@altshift.me.

Payments & refunds

Payment processing

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company), acting as Merchant of Record. AltShift does not store payment card data. VAT-compliant invoices are generated automatically for every purchase.

Refund policy

AltShift products are downloadable digital products intended exclusively for professional and organisational use by businesses, consultants, and compliance professionals.

Due to the nature of digital content delivered immediately after purchase, refund requests are generally not accepted once the product has been delivered or accessed.

However, refund requests may be considered in the following situations:

• the delivered files are corrupted or inaccessible;
• the product materially differs from the published product description;
• a duplicate purchase was made in error;
• the product cannot reasonably be used for its intended documented purpose due to a verified technical defect.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase to contact@altshift.me and should include the order number and a description of the issue.

Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are processed through our payment partner Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record for transactions on this website.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights applicable under relevant law.
